This Week’s Public Crypto & Mining News 🗞️
Meme of the Week 😂

1/ Bitmain Heads to America 🇺🇸
Yep. Big news for the mining world, Bitmain the Chinese giant behind Antminer mining machines, is is preparing to launch a new production facility in the U.S. by the end of Q3. The new site could be in Texas or Florida, and they plan to hire around 250 local employees to begin manufacturing activities.
But let’s talk real impact.
Faster rig delivery - No more long waits. U.S. made equipment mean quicker shipping for American miners.
Fewer tariff headaches - Local production means less risk from trade issues or added costs.
Better support - Expect faster repairs, easier maintenance, and local service.
2/ Mining Profits Hit New Highs Post-Halving
In July, Bitcoin mining became more profitable than it’s been since the April halving.
By the numbers:
$57,400 in average daily revenue per EH/s
That's the highest level since the halving in April 2025

3/ One Miner, One Block, $373K
A solo miner just struck digital gold.
This lone operator mined Bitcoin block #907,283 all by themselves, earning a cool $373,000 in rewards.
The odds? About 1 in 4.26 million if you’re running 1 PH/s.
Moments like these are rare. But they remind us, luck still has a seat at the mining table.

4/ Ethiopia’s Growing Mining Power
Bit Mining is turning its eyes to Africa. Bit Mining isn’t sticking only to Bitcoin. They’ve announced plans to pivot toward Solana mining infrastructure.
Why Ethiopia? Two big reasons:
Cheap, renewable energy: Thanks to the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam, electricity costs are among the lowest globally often under US 3.6¢ per kWh.
Growing crypto region: Since China’s mining ban in 2021, companies like Bit Mining, BitFuFu, and Canaan have moved in, also including Phoenix Group with another 80 to 132 MW project under construction.

5/ CleanSpark Hits Its 50 EH/s Goal
CleanSpark just reached its mid-year goal of 50 EH/s, and what’s impressive is they did it using only their own infrastructure. No third-party hosting.
Stats:
Currently runs over 12,600 BTC in treasury
Operating across 179 MW of contracted power
Mined 445 BTC in June 2025 alone
94% of their hashrate is from latest-gen miners
6/ Marathon Plans to Hit 75 EH/s by Year-End
Marathon isn’t slowing down either. They’re aiming for 75 EH/s before the year ends more than 40% growth from their current hashrate.
Stats:
Mined 1,242 BTC in June 2025
Holds $2.1B worth of BTC as of Q2 2025
